A Christmas Carol comes to the Tryon Fine Arts Center Pavilion in an immersive theatrical experience using state-of-the-art sound and light technology—while staying true to the timeless message of Charles Dickens’ beloved tale.

“We want our audience to experience every emotion these characters feel: the poignant sadness and the great joy,” said Carruth. “We have a small ensemble of talented actors. Other than Andy Millard, who plays Scrooge, each actor in the show portrays several characters, switching seamlessly between them. They’re a versatile bunch!”

From Ebenezer Scrooge’s office to the Cratchits’ dinner table to those otherworldly excursions through time, courtesy of the prophetic ghosts, you’ll travel every step of the way on Scrooge’s journey to redemption.

A Christmas Carol is a Shakespeare & Friends production, and a family-friendly theatrical event complete with holiday festivities, including cheerful Christmas decorations, live music, seasonal refreshments, and more.
