MEET THE ACTORS

Lori Corda (Blanche DuBois) is thrilled to be working with Catherine Gillet again and with this incredibly talented cast! She has had her heart set on portraying Blanche for years after fellow actor, Mark Monaghan, said it is a role she should look into! Thank you Mark! Lori holds a BM degree in Vocal Pedagogy from East Carolina University. In college, Lori’s studies were filled with classical music and opera, but after graduating, Lori moved to New York City and toured in musicals throughout the country (favorite role was Eva Peron in Evita) Since moving to Columbus, NC, Lori has given classical recitals at theTryon Fine Arts Center: Stage Door, and at the Tryon Holy Cross Episcopal Church: Classical Music Series. Lori was a featured soloist in Celebrating Nina Simone, a music event sponsored by the Nina Simone Project. She was recently seen with TLT in Holmes for the Holidays: The Games Afoot (Daria Chase). Other favorite roles include: Four Old Broads (Imogene), The Great American Trailer Park (Betty), Dancing at Lughnasa (Aggie), Enchanted April, (Lady Caroline Bramble), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Titania), Hamlet Requiem (Gertrude), and The Light in the Piazza (Margaret Johnson). In addition to singing and acting, Lori owns her own Yoga studio, Yoga at The Tree House. Sending love and gratitude to her husband, Vinny, her children, Joseph and Sofia, and to all of her friends. She is dedicating her performances to her father, Chuck. Wish he was here to see this!

Lynn Llewelyn (Stella Kowalski) is deeply honored to inhabit the world of Tennessee Williams and profoundly grateful to Catherine Gillet for her trust and guidance in bringing the beautiful, electric heart of Stellato life. Lynn was most recently seen as M’Lynn in the Flat Rock Playhouse production of Steel Magnolias, the theatre that brought her to NC in 1991 to star in Eleemosynary alongside Elizabeth Ashley, one of Williams’ most celebrated actresses. Lynn holds a BFA in Acting from SMU and is a proud member of AEA/SAG-AFTRA. She has appeared in numerous roles on stage and screen, but treasures most her lifelong roles as Mom to four extraordinary daughters and wife to her soulmate, Will Penny.

Jon Stockdale (Stanley Kowalski) has performed locally with Nemesis Theatre Company, NC Stage, Flat Rock Playhouse, SART, the Magnetic Theatre, Attic Salt, the Sublime Theater, Different Strokes! Performing Arts Collective, Dark Horse Theatre, and the Montford Park Players.
